Wayzata High School graduate Sarah Burnham and Champlin Park grad Megan Munneke were among 35 women who teed it up Tuesday morning at a U.S. Women’s Open qualifier event at Rush Cree in Maple Grove. The winner of the 36-hole qualifier advances to the U.S. Women’s Open which begins later this month in South Carolina. Burnham played college golf at Michigan State while Munneke is currently a player at South Dakota.
