Wednesday marked the beginning of a new era for the Robbinsdale restaurant scene.
Pig Ate My Pizza officially reopens its doors at 4 p.m.
The original incarnation of the restaurant closed about four months ago, which allowed them to move their operation down the street to a larger space formerly occupied by Travail (which is building a new space across the street).
“Finally here, the space if beautiful,” said chef and owner James Winberg. “It’s great. It’s going to be a lot of fun. Family-friendly. A little bit of something for everybody in this place. It’s going to be awesome.”
The restaurant also plans to offer a new six-course tasting menu. Pig Ate My Pizza will pair the food on the tasting menu with beer once the restaurant acquire its license to brew on site.
